Acharya Tilopa said: "For those who wish to attain Buddhahood in this very lifetime, they must follow the Vajrayana path. It is only through devotion and trust in the Vajra Master that one can realize the profound teachings of Vajrayana and reach ultimate accomplishment. To develop such devotion, one must first understand the qualities of the master, and the only way to know those qualities is through learning about the master's life story.
